Celluma LED Therapy and How to Pair It With a Facial
Two ways to book Celluma, what our menu says it's for, and how to add it to a facial without overspending.

If you've seen a panel glowing blue over a client at a facial bar, that's Celluma, the LED light therapy device we use at Glow Facial Bar. It's one of those services that people are curious about and unsure how to book. Is it a facial? A treatment of its own? An extra? It can be any of those, and this guide explains the options and what they cost.
What LED light therapy is
LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light, delivered by a panel that sits over your face. There's no blade, no peel, and no scrubbing. You rest while the panel does its work. Our menu describes Celluma as medical-grade light wavelengths, and the benefits we list are about calming and supporting the skin.
According to our menu, those benefits include supporting collagen and elastin, reducing inflammation and redness, clearing acne-causing bacteria, improving circulation, and speeding recovery after extractions and peels. Individual results vary, so treat that list as what the treatment is designed for rather than a promise.
What it's for
We list Celluma for these concerns:
- Acne and breakouts
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven tone and texture
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Redness and inflammation
- Post-treatment irritation
Notice that it spans two different jobs. Some items are about the long game, like fine lines and tone. Others are about comfort right now, like redness after a treatment. That's why it works both as a service on its own and as a finishing step after another one.
Two ways to book it
The first is the stand-alone Celluma LED treatment at $65. It includes a refreshing cleanse and a finishing moisturizer, so it's a complete visit and not just a panel and a goodbye. Because the visit is its own thing, ask when you book how much time to set aside.
The second is the add-on. Celluma LED Therapy added to another service is $30 for 15 minutes. If you're already in the chair for a facial, this is the lighter-touch way to try it.
Fitting it around a facial
Here's how it fits. An express facial is $75 and 30 minutes, and the Celluma add-on is $30 for 15 minutes on top of whatever you booked. The add-on rides along with a facial you were already planning, while the $65 stand-alone visit suits days when light is the only thing you came in for.
The add-on works the same way with any facial on the menu. Celluma is also listed as speeding recovery after extractions and peels, so it is worth asking about when you book a Level I or Level II peel.
Which should you pick? If you want to try light therapy without committing to a separate visit, the add-on is a gentle way in. If light therapy is the main event for you, because of redness, breakouts, or general dullness, the stand-alone treatment gives it a visit of its own, with the cleanse and moisturizer included.
The order of things during a visit is your esthetician's call, and it depends on what else is happening that day. After a service that can leave skin feeling sensitive, such as extractions or a peel, our menu lists speeding recovery among Celluma's benefits, so it's worth asking about adding it then.
Questions to ask before you book
- How often makes sense for my goal?
- Is Celluma a good fit for my skin right now?
- Should I add it to a facial or book it alone?
- How much time should I set aside?
Our site has a short FAQ on Celluma that covers how it works, whether it hurts, when you'll see results, whether it's safe for everyone, and whether it can be combined with other treatments. If you have a medical condition, take medication, or have any concern about light on your skin, say so when you book so we can talk it through before the visit.
It also helps to keep the goal realistic. Many people treat light therapy as something to repeat rather than a one-time fix. Ask what a sensible schedule looks like for you, and what you should expect to notice, so you're judging it by the right yardstick.
